Get on the low-volume speakers list. I also recommend the business and/or hitech lists if you want to know about our regular meetings. Get on the jobs lists if you don’t have a secure internship/job yet. If you’re really active or love to talk, get on the discussion lists.

Here are all of the Eclub’s lists:

eclub-l-speakers

Whatever your level of free time, definitely subscribe to this list. You will only get e-mails when we bring in speakers a few times a year. We will bring in great speakers, such as self-made entrepreneurs or CEO’s like Eric Schmidt and Meg Whitman. By being on this list, you will be sure not to miss out when a big speaker comes. If you have more time, we recommend that you subscribe to some of the lists below.

If you are or want to be an entrepreneur, subscribe to this list. This list will keep you informed about our regular business-oriented meetings (once or twice a month). At the meetings, we will invite entrepreneurs and other successful people to speak with us in a small group settings. Also, we will teach you how to craft a business plan, how to raise money for a company, and how to make your new company succeed. You will get to know a lot of other great Princeton students who are also interested in entrepreneurship.

If you love technology, subscribe to this list. This list will keep you informed about our regular technology-oriented meetings (once or twice a month). At the meetings, we will teach you cool hacks, how to make Facebook apps, artificial intelligence, and anything else about the newest technology that we can learn from each other. Also, we will invite successful startup engineers and other successful people to speak with us in a small group settings. We assume at least intermediate knowledge of computers and the Internet. You will get to know a lot of other great Princeton students who are also interested in cutting-edge technology.

This is a very high-traffic list for us to talk about entrepreneurship without worrying about spamming anyone.

If you love technology, subscribe to this list. Once you subscribe, you can send messages to the entire list. 
This is a very high-traffic list for us to talk about entrepreneurship in a technical light without worrying about spamming anyone.

eclub-l-business-jobs

Often, financial firms, consulting firms, and other big companies like to recruit from entrepreneurially-minded students. They like to make sure that students know about internships, jobs, 
information sessions, leadership bootcamps, and other opportunities. Sometimes, people in the entrepreneurship club already have jobs/internships or are not interested in such offers. So, if you’re looking for a business job/internship, make sure you’re on this list. If not, then save your inbox.

eclub-l-hitech-jobs

This list serves the same purpose as eclub-l-business-jobs, except that we post technology-oriented internships/jobs/opportunities here. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, big Hedge Funds, etc all want you. So, subscribe to this list if you want to be informed.

For the Graduated:

eclub-l-alumni

Alumni tend not to want to know about many of the business meetings or internship opportunities. Still, it’s important to stay connected to the community. Venture-net and Princeton Entrepreneurs’ Network are important. So is this. Alumni, and seniors at the end of the year, make sure you get on this list. Everyone else, feel free to unsubscribe until the time comes.
